BOTOX® Injections

BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an FDA-approved injectable treatment to reduce the appearance of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults.

The treatment is administered in-office, and results can be seen for many patients after only one use. The procedure requires minimal to no downtime and can be completed in a single office visit. Follow up visits may be requested for additional BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a temporary treatment that is administered into the muscle beneath the forehead and eyebrow area to improve the look of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles and may last anywhere from 3 to 6 months.

Injectable Filler

BOTOX® Injectable fillers can be used to smooth the appearance of skin and sculpt the face by reducing fine lines, folds, wrinkles, and fullness including the lip area, cheeks, frown lines, crow’s feet, and other common signs of aging.
There are a variety of injectable fillers available, suitable for different purposes and areas of the face including:

Juvéderm®
Restylane®
Sculptra®
Others on a case-by-case basis

Injectable fillers work by adding filler material under the skin, effectively smoothing the skin or increasing the contour and structure of the face. Injectable fillers may help restore a youthful appearance.

Most injectable filler treatments can be completed in an office visit with minimal to no downtime and mild precautions for 48 hours or less to allow the filler to fully take shape. These treatments are temporary, cost-effective, nonsurgical options which, in some instances, may last up to two years.

Mole Removal

Mole Removal

Mole removal is a simple, quick, in-patient procedure that involves surgically removing, burning, or shaving off a mole from the skin. In-patient surgical mole removal notably reduces scarring at the site of removal. The procedure usually involves minimal risks and healing time.

When moles are removed by a plastic surgeon or other doctor, unlike when moles are removed at home, they can be thoroughly examined by a pathologist for any signs of skin cancer. Compared to at-home methods, in-patient mole removal also increases effectiveness and reduces scarring, and even help with scar removal.

Cosmetic Lip Fillers And Lip Wrinkle Reduction Using Fillers And BOTOX® Injections

Lips can show signs of aging through reduction in fullness and size, wrinkles, and fine lines. Injectable fillers such as Restylane® and Juvéderm can temporarily restore lip fullness while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. These low-risk, temporary procedures can be done in-office within the space of an average appointment and require minimal downtime.

Fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic are both alternatives to much pricier, more permanent lip augmentation surgeries.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is often used in a procedure commonly known as a “Botox Lip Flip.” In this procedure, small amounts of BOTOX® Cosmetic are injected into the cupid’s bow at the top of the lip as well as the inner corners of the mouth. This loosens muscles around the mouth that allow lips to relax into a fuller pout. This procedure carries low risks, is unlikely to lead to a paralyzed-seeming mouth, and can be done in-office within approximately 10 minutes with little to no downtime.

Full Facial Wrinkle Reduction With Injectable Filler And BOTOX® Cosmetic

Skin can show signs of aging through wrinkles, sagging, drooping, folds, fine lines, crow’s feet, laugh lines, frown lines, and many other disturbances in the skin’s original, youthful texture.

Injectable fillers such as Restylane®and Juvéderm can temporarily restore the appearance of skin by increasing the fullness underneath, resulting in a sculpted face and smooth skin. Injectable fillers can also help reduce sagging and drooping because the filler acts to “lift” the skin from sagging areas. These types of treatments can be completed in-office with minimal cost, risk, and downtime required. Injectable filler treatments last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years on average.

BOTOX® Cosmetic can also be used to reduce the look of wrinkles and lines in aging skin. This FDA-approved treatment relaxes muscles under the skin, allowing for increased tautness of the skin above, effectively reducing the appearance of wrinkles and improving skin’s look.

Wart And Skin Tag Removal

Wart And Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are small, harmless flaps of skin that often appear in body folds such as the armpits as well on the neck and upper trunk. Removal may be indicated if a patient has discomfort or pain due to its placement, if it gets caught in clothing or jewelry, or if the skin tag creates self-consciousness or unhappiness in the patient.

Skin tags can easily be removed in-office with minimal risk and little to no downtime. Procedures used to remove skin tags include:

  • Cutting using a scalpel or surgical scissors
  • Freezing (Cryotherapy) using liquid nitrogen which may result in a small, temporary blister at the site of the skin tag
  • Burning the skin tag where it attaches to the skin which will quickly remove it as well as reduce or prevent bleeding.

Wart And Skin Tag Removal Procedure

Warts are small growths on the skin which sometimes look like a solid blister which are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts are extremely common and rarely require treatment. Most warts will go away on their own within five years. However, in the case of warts that have become bothersome or are spreading, removal may be in order. Wart removal is usually an in-office, low-pain, low-risk, cost-effective procedure with little no downtime required.

Methods used to remove warts include:

  • Salicylic acid may be applied daily over the course of several months to reduce the size and appearance of a wart.
Freezing (Cryotherapy) using liquid nitrogen which may result in a small, temporary blister at the site of the wart. In the event of large or multiple warts, anesthetic may be required as well as additional sessions.
Cantharidin treatment which involves placing chemicals and extracts to the wart in order to cause a small blister below it. The doctor is then able to remove the wart from above the blister.
Candida Antigen Shots are a pregnancy-safe wart treatment option that utilizes the body’s own immune system to manage the wart.
Other treatments including antibiotics, retinol, immune-system drugs, and antiviral treatments.
Surgery may be used in the event of large warts or those which do not respond to other treatments. This is rare.
